We begin by understanding your goals, style preferences & the meaning behind your piece.

Initial Conversation

Project Brief

A relaxed consultation to get acquainted & explore design ideas, budget range, timeline, and priorities.

We will walk you through the options & gather key details that set the foundation for your custom piece.

02 Design

We explore the visual direction of your ring and refine elements that make it distinctly yours.

Creative Exploration

Technical Guidance

During the design phase, you will receive a handful of sketches or mockups to visualize options.

While highly collaborative, all designs are shaped by our aesthetic standards & technical expertise to ensure your ring is both refined and structurally sound.

03 Center Stone Selection

We work with natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds and sapphire center stones. Alternative gemstones may be available upon request.

Curated Selection

We provide a handpicked selection of stones within your budget and quality parameters.

To help finalize your decision, we can bring in up to two stones at a time for an in-person or virtual viewing (more details here).

Responsible Sourcing

We work with a select group of vetted suppliers whose practices align with our values.

All diamonds & gemstones are conflict-free and adhere to strict government regulations, ethical mining standards, and the Kimberley Process.

04 Approval

We review the design in full, ensuring each detail feels balanced & aligned with your vision.

Deposit

Once you select a center stone & feel confident with the ring design, a 50% deposit is issued to kick off production.

CAD Development

Your ring is translated into a technical CAD model, followed by a full set of renders for review. We can make up two rounds of design revisions after the initial CAD is presented.

05 Production Begins

Your ring is brought to life by the skilled hands of our founder. Every piece is lovingly crafted with a high level of care & attention to detail.

Craftsmanship & Sustainable Mining

Each piece is handcrafted using time-honored techniques and responsibly sourced materials.

We partner with two trusted US-based RJC certified casting houses that work with 100% recycled precious metals.

Timeline

Production typically takes 5 to 6 weeks after
CAD approval & submitting the initial deposit.

Please note that we prioritize quality over rushing production. That said, expedited service may be available upon request for an additional fee, allowing your ring to move ahead in our queue.

06 Delivery

After all the finishing touches, your ring is photographed and prepped for its journey home.

Ready for Proposal

Your ring arrives in our signature Dogwood ring box, beautifully packaged and ready for the moment ahead.

Your piece will be accompanied by a branded suite that includes a Dogwood care card, insurance information, warranty details, and a polishing cloth.

Ongoing Care

We'll always take care of your ring! Every new purchase includes one complimentary size adjustment within 12 months, plus lifetime prong checks and cleaning.
